Our latest travel style 'Ski and Apres' has us trading in the beaches Tru is so famous for and swapping into our ski gear as we take on a completely new destination! We're now travelling Ski and Apres style! We've found the perfect balance of learning new skills and sliding the slopes with a well deserved party and apres ski! Our hostel in Barcelona is in a very central location and is just a short walk from the scenic district of Gracia, just steps from Gaudi's iconic apartments and the Sagrada Familia. It has an amazing rooftop terrace where TruTravellers can relax with a backdrop of the city... there's really no better place to start this incredible 7 day trip! This accommodation is shared dorm rooms.

From the city of Barcelona to the moountains of Andorra! Our hotel here is located right in the centre of the town, just two minutes away from the slopes and the bars. Not only is there an incredible buffet style restauant on site and a bar with games but also a SPA for when you feel like you need a break. We really know how to pick the best places for you!

Arrival Day & Welcome to Barcelona

Welcome to Barca! The day you’ve all been waiting for has finally come so let’s get straight into it and get this snow on the road! We’ll arrange transfers to pick you up from the airport and take you straight to our first accommodation in the heart of the city where we begin the most incredible adventure. Spend the day settling in, exploring and checking out the famous hotspots around. It’s our first and last night in this gorgeous city and we’re heading straight for the tapas! We’ll grab some dinner, get to know the gals over a pitcher of Sangria and get ready for an incredible 7 days together.

Next Stop Andorra!

Time to head to the slopes! Make yourselves comfortable as we board our private coach and make our way to Andorra. Once checked in, in the afternoon, we’ll get settled and head straight out to get our ski gear fitted ready to hit the slopes first thing in the morning. We’ll explore the town, and grab those last-minute essentials, before heading back to the hotel for some dinner all-together!

Day 3

Ski By Day, Apres Ski By Night!

Time to HIT the slopes! We meet for breakfast nice and early before heading out to grab our skis and passes and get this show on the slopes. Whether you're a gal who can ski or an all the gear but no idea gal, this trip is super inclusive of all levels! Our guides will help you make your way to pre-booked ski lessons, (please note these will need to be arranged at the time of booking) or for the pros, you can head straight off to explore the gorgeous Pyrenees mountains. The day is yours, to get lost in the mountains before we meet up later in the afternoon for some well-deserved Apres ski. We’ll dance the afternoon away to ABBA, with an Aperol or two in hand and then head back to the hotel for some dinner, and for some, head back out to continue on the Aperols!

Day 4

Ski, Snow, Boards & Mountains

Time to grab some breakfast and reminisce on our incredible first day in Andorra. Get the boots back on gals, it's time to hit the lifts once again. For some, it's a morning of lessons, and for others, it's braving the black run! The afternoon is yours to enjoy so if you’re feeling up to it, hit the Apres ski once again, explore the town or even take a trip to the hotel’s Spa. Whatever the mood, there’s an option for you!

Day 5

It's Spa Time!

Once again, we need to fuel our day by grabbing breakfast first thing. We grab our gear and head back up the mountain to show off all the skills we’ve learned this week. After another great day on the slopes, it'll be time for us to head to the spa to relax in the hot tub, chill out in the steam room and experience the magic of a sauna after skiing for 3 days! After chilling out, it’s time for yet some more après-ski fun! We'll hit the bars up high, get dancing on the tables before making our way back down for the evening. Grab some dinner and dance the night away in our favourite bar ‘Mojito’ with your new besties or take it easy and rest up ahead of our last day!

Day 6

Our Last Full Day of Ski

Gooood morning! It’s our final day in Andorra, so let’s make the most of it. As per, fuel up at breakfast because you’ll need the energy. We’ll head out for one last adventure on the slopes, staying together as a group to explore and enjoy a final ski session - such a perfect way to wrap up the trip. And of course, we’ll finish on a high note with one last visit to Après, complete with an Aperol in hand!

Chilly (Chilled) Check Out

Andorra has been good to us, but its time to check out. We grab some breakfast, hit the road on our private coach and make our way back to Barcelona. We’re here to help plan the next steps of your adventure, whether it’s onwards, homebound or back to bed for a week of catching up on those early starts. The last 7 days have been so wonderful and we hope to see you again soon for another adventure. Andorra ski & apres, are now ticked off the list!

The gals who travel Andorra ski trip was honestly amazing, such a fun itinerary, great people, brilliant skiing, and a lovely hotel! Sanne our tour leader was so knowledgeable about everything, giving us recommendations on ski runs, bars, and Barcelona spots! She made the trip so much fun, getting to know each of us individually and helping us to make the most of our itinerary! Sanne was an amazing guide throughout the andorra ski trip, despite a huge group of us she kept it well organised, made us all feel super safe and made herself apart of the group - we had sooo much fun with her. WHERE DOES THE TRIP START & FINISH?

The trip starts in Barcelona and ends in Barcelona

What type of accommodation is there on this trip?

In Barcelona, these will be private shared dorm rooms and in Andorra it will be twin/triple share.

Which airport do I need to fly into?

You will need to fly into Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN)

What is the closest airport to the end destination?

HOW DO I GET BACK TO THE START DESTINATION AND IS THIS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

A private coach for the group is included back to Barcelona city on day 7.

Please note that you'll be dropped back off in Barcelona city centre, near the plaza de catalunya. From there you can travel to the airport by taxi, metro or bus.

What time should I book my flight home on the last day?

If you are planning to fly home on the last day, you will need to book your own way back to the airport and the flight will need to depart after 7pm to allow time to get back without rushing.

Please note when you travel back to Barcelona you will be dropped in Barcelona city centre near the plaza de catalunya. From there you can travel to the airport by taxi, metro or bus or if you are staying for longer in Barcelona ask your guide for some recommendations for how to spend your extra time in the incredible city!

Are ski lessons included in the price?

ARE SKI LESSONS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

No, ski lessons are not included in the price but we can add beginner ski lessons on for an extra cost. The cost is ÂŁ199 per person for 3 days of lessons, 2 hours per day. The lessons will be for small groups of up to 6 people, with other TruTravellers.

If you want to add on ski lessons, these will need to be done at least 30 days before your tour.

Please note that we can only book beginner ski lessons. If you are looking for more advanced lessons or snowboarding, these will need to be booked by yourself.

All ski lessons can be booked through the Grandvalira website. The sector is Pas de la Casa.

Lessons will vary by price depending on whether you choose a collective or individual lesson and what time you book.

Collective lessons will be with another group of people and start from €150 per person for 3 days.

Individual lessons will just be you and an instructor and start from €360 per person.

What ski equipment is included in the price?

All your essentials are included! We'll go for a fitting when we arrive in Andorra on day 2 to get you kitted out. Your skis, poles, helmet and boots are all included, as well as a 4 day ski lift pass.

What clothing should i bring?

Layers, layers and lots of layers! Make sure to bring thermals, warm and comfortable clothing and waterproof ski gear. Don't forget to also pack some waterproof gloves, socks and sunnies/goggles!

What is the local currency?

The currency is Euros.

Do I need any special insurance for skiing?

Yes, you will need to make sure you get insurance that covers winter sports. Make sure this includes skiing and snow tubing.

Is my money protected?

Yep! You’re protected. TruTravels is both ABTA and ATOL registered meaning your money is safe. We also offer 1 free date change before 60 days of your departure date.

Do I need a VISA to join this tour?

Yes! From 2025 ETIAS will be needed to enter the EU if you are from outside the EU. These cost around €7 and need to be sorted at least 4 days before you travel. To find out more about this and to get more accurate advice please refer to your country's government website.

Who will be leading my group?

Every tour is led by one of our incredible Gals Who Leaders! They are all fully trained, LOVE to travel and know all the hidden gems in the areas they are showing you. We have a mix of female and male guides who lead our trips and they will become your best friend in no time!
