With a lovely rooftop terrace which has amazing views of the local area and Atlas mountains, with this accommodation we are off to a cracking start!

Pool, tick. Traditional decor, Tick. Our accommodation Boumalne Dades is exactly what we need after our first busy few days. After exploring, sit back, relax and unwind ready for the epic days ahead!

Did someone say glamping? We are spending our first night here in a gorgeous hotel on the edge of the desert. There'll be plenty of time to chill at the pool when we get here - I know, cool right? The next night we get to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience as we're camping out in the desert! These permanent, traditional tents have everything you need for a peaceful night's sleep - it's an amazing experience you will never ever forget!

Ait Ben Haddou is pulling out all the stops when it comes to where we'll be staying! With an amazing pool, outdoor terrace (look at that view) and a beautiful garden which is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring.

This guesthouse blends nature with comfort! With insane views of Imlil Valley from the outdoor pool and an amazing roof terrace - this is one of our favourite places to stay! It's also located in a little traditional village in the mountains, cool right?

Day 2

Exploring the souks of Marrakech

It's our first full day as a group, and we are visiting Marrakech's hotspots with our local guide! We'll start at Jardin Majorelle, which is an absolute dream. It was created in 1922, and more recently, in 1980, it was bought by Yves Saint Laurent, who wanted to save it from being turned into a hotel. Thank goodness he did because it is a super special place to visit! Once we've seen all of the iconic spots, we'll head back to the medina for some shopping. Markets in Morocco are unlike anywhere else, so dust off your haggling skills, gals!! In the evening, we'll go out for a group dinner overlooking the centre of the medina.

Ait Ben Haddou and the Atlas Mountains

Today is an early start as we’re off to the heart of Ait Ben Haddou! This fortified village has been used as a filming location for Game Of Thrones, The Mummy and Gladiator. It is a great place to spend an hour getting lost amongst the pretty alleys and castle-like buildings. Then, we’re off to our next incredible location, and it's not a journey you want to nap on! Take in the beautiful views as we cross the Tichka Pass and get some gorgeous photos along the way. Then, we’ll head over to the Imlil cascades for a waterfall walk. This walk is right at the start of the infamous Mount Toubkal - don't worry, it’s not too strenuous, but it does give a real taste of mountain trek!
