do i need vaccinations for gals who travel trips?

For advice on vaccinations, it is best to visit your government's website. For UK advice, Travel Health Pro has up-to-date guidance.

 

 

 

 

how much spending money will i need?

It depends on where you are travelling to. For regions like Southeast Asia, you can expect to spend around £20 a day, but in Europe it will be around £50, but this also will change gal to gal.

 

 

will i need a backpack or a suitcase?

We get asked this question a lot! honestly, bring whatever you are most comfortable carrying, some gals swear by a suitcase, but some find it easier to pop everything in a backpack - there is no right answer for this one!

 

 

what are the average ages for gals who travel trips?

18-35 is the average age across our trips. We welcome a range of ages and love the connections made across all our gals who travel trips.

 

 

what is the accommodation like on the trips?

Amazing! All our trips include great accommodation. On most of our trips, the accommodation is twin share, but on our Australia and Japan trips, we have female-only dorms. If you want more information on the accommodation on the trips, you can contact info@trutravels.com.

 

 

 

 

can i come solo?

Of course! Most of our gals come solo, and we have found that coming solo allows you to get the most out of the trips. Arriving solo might sound scary, but honestly, as soon as you arrive, you will become part of a brand-new, supportive and loving friendship group.

 

 

are the internal flights included? how much luggage is included on these flights?

On some of our trips, there are internal flights, and these are always included and booked for you, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. For Australia and the Philippines’ tours’ internal flight, you can check in up to 20kg and on the Vietnam tour, you can take up to 23kg. if you want more information on this, you can contact info@trutravels.com.

 

 

what happens if there is bad weather on the trip?

Sometimes the Etsy witch doesn’t pull through, but don’t worry, the amazing gals who team will always be monitoring the weather in each destination and have a backup plan in case the weather isn’t on our side.

 

 

do i need to bring cash with me?

For most destinations, ‘cash is king’. Your amazing tour leader will let you know where to take out cash and help you at ATMs if you need it. It’s always good to travel with a card you can use without fees abroad and have a backup one just in case (Monzo and Revolut are both good options.)

 

 

will i get to speak to the girls before the trip starts?

Yes! Another amazing thing about 'gals who' trips is we create the group chat a whole month in advance to give you plenty of time to meet each other, discuss outfits and even align your flights if you fancy.

 

 

 

 

how do you decide who is in a room with who?

We have a great option for our trips to personalise your trip even more! If you would like to be put into a room with a gal you share a common interest with, live close to or are a similar age, then you can fill out a form in the group chat and we will get sorting. Equally, if you don’t mind who you are sharing with and want to leave it up to chance, you can!

 

 

how do i stay connected when i am abroad?

the dates don’t work for me, can i join late/leave a trip early?

Yes, you can join late on some of our trips, but it is best to speak to the gals who team before to make sure this works. On some of our trips, we move location on day 2, so joining a little late may not work. If you would like to get more information on this, please contact info@trutravels.com

 

 

when will you release new trip dates?

We release new dates around 6 months in advance, giving you plenty of time to book your dream girls' trip.

 

 

is it safe to travel alone?

The amazing thing about a gals who travel trip is that you can come alone and you have the reassurance that there are a group of gals with you that will always have your back and a tour guide to look after you!

 

On a gals who travel trip, you don’t have to worry about logistics; you’ll have a knowledgeable guide to help you navigate each country, answer any questions you have, and help you at every step. We’ll even help you before the trip and after the tour with any onward travel.
